Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography is a noninvasive technique that uses a skin probe emitting high-energy sound waves to bounce off of tissue and internal organs, ultimately rendering an image generated from the echo patterns received for us to evaluate.  This allows us to "see inside" the tissue to recognize possible changes in structure.

Ultrasonography is especially useful for:

• Tendon Damage Examinations
• Heart abnormalities
• Gastro Intestinal Problems
• Early Pregnancy Diagnosis - with Ultrasonography we can provide a 14-day pregnancy diagnosis and manage the pregnancy if twins are present.

Through the use of ultrasonography, we can better and more efficiently diagnose and manage injured tissues and organs.
