This is a state-of-the-art form of x-ray viewing of bones.
Instead of the traditional x-ray method that places an image on film
that can only be viewed after an involved film-developing
procedure in a Dark Room -- Digital Radiology processes the x-ray
digitally and renders it on a computer screen in a matter of
seconds. Three, to be exact! This provides the
opportunity to view the x-ray right beside the horse and to re-take
images or take additional images as necessary.
Imagine your horse has a
lameness issue that can be solved with corrective shoeing -- we can
take instant x-rays with your blacksmith right there at your barn
and provide on-site shoeing guidance based on your horse's physical
needs at that moment. |

Our Digital Radiology system is portable. For our
clients who don't have electricity in their barns, we have equipped
our vehicles with inverters able to power the equipment. |
